I posted there on asking how to do it but this forum is way more active anyways this was what i wrote.....

Hi, Ive been reading all over this forum to try and get my movies to play in full screen. I have telus unfortunately and I cant seem to get any videos to play in full screen, if I do they dont show any video.

I followed all the instructions, 100% and when I go into MY ALBUMS and I go to the video, it only plays the audio and just a black screen with a big ! in the middle of it. I can successfully play videos when converted with Videoras Samsung Instinct converter but those only play about 2/3 of the screen...

When i change the resoultion to 432 x 240 i will just get the big ! and audio playing...

Im not sure if the problem is Im playing it from MY ALBUMS but I cant get into the TV & Video thing because I dont have internet access (its too expensive from telus)

Anyone have any other ideas of what I can do to get it to play full screen ?

you can't do it with the telus insinct.  Not until  we can use 3rd party apps, hopefully in the coming few months but I ain't holding my breath.  The only video access is through the cameras app which is why you can only access videos through that folder, and they have to be the same resolution for them to work and you'll still get the menu bars on either side of the screen.  Telus just released the instinct to stop customers from moving to Bell and like a big fish I bit and am an avid Telus BAsher.

well i read in a thread in the telus seciton that you can change some policy text file to manipulate the software to allow you to upload 3rd party apps like games and opera and gmaps, you said you cant use 3rd party apps so does that actually work or not?

with telus there are certain 3rd party apps that work via BitPim but have yet to find a mediaplayer that'll play full screen.  Glassplayer is suppose to play video as well bu am unaware if it plays full screen and I'm unwilling to pay and find it doesn't
