Samsung Instinct - Error M505: Unable to Read Memory Card

I don't know how or what I did to get this error. I was listenening to my music through the music player last night with the same memory card. The next day, today, I get this error "Error M505: Unable to Read Memory Card." Has anyone else gotten this error or know how to fix it?

i got the same error message, still waiting for sprint customer service to fix the problem waiting 3 days now!!!!

you could always plug the sd into the adapter, then into your computer, or card reader that's hooked to the computer...if nothing happens, it's fried....
Then sometimes it's as easy as pulling the sd out of the phone and putting it back in that fixes it sometimes...just make sure it doesn't click back too far...
I've managed to go through a couple so far....

Has this issue been resolved?

I got the mr6 update which was junk. A repair store managed to flash back mr5. Too bad I didn't check in the store, but my music player now comes up with this problem. I have another samsung and another micro sd card which works. the original works with that samsung too. But my m810 only gives me errors and/or no music in the card. I wonder if having the card in the phone while they did the reflash did something bad to the device. The card works fine on computers and the other phone so i'm ruling that out.

Any help? Thanks!

I also got that error code. I reformatted the sd card in my computer(full format). I then had a music folder in the reformatted sd card when it was done. I then put the music in the music folder. Thhat solved the problem. Hope that helps you. I no longer get the error code, and the music player works fine.
