Samsung Instinct - CANT FIGURE OUT HOW TO PLAY VIDEOS

Hey everyone, any help here could be great. I just bought a manufacturer refurb instinct for $38 on ebay with the main purpose to use it for music, photos, and watching videos. (My daughter wants a touchscreen ipod type player for Christmas and i thought this was one hell of a lot better than spending $225 on her first player which she may loose or break in a couple of months!) Everything seems to work great except i cant watch videos. I downloaded some different things off you tube, put them on my micro sd card, but the phone is not recognizing anything. I used the popular "ANY VIDEO CONVERTER" people speak of on this site, and converted everything to avi, but still no luck -can anyone tell me what i am doing wrong?

u gotta convert the video into 3gp or 3g2 FOrmat

then put it into the dcim folder where the recorded videos should be In there just save them in there and it should show up only when u go to my videos /TV icon there browse to my videos and then go to camera folder and vUola It should show \u the video Names tell me if it didnt work i know how to do this i have many videos in mine so DOnt think iam talking our of My ass !! angel

Still no luck. I converted the videos to 3gp, put them on my sd card (didnt take nearly as much space on card as they would in flv or avi formats did) go to the tv/video on the phone, and its blank

Just download this app for your PC and go to mobiles and select Free video to SAMSUNG and There select SAMSUMG INSTICT codec and there u have it man// MERRY CHRISTMAS

Download what app? (i think you forgot to put it in your last message, haha) Sorry to be such a pain, i have tried several options and searched google. Im usually pretty good at this stuff, but im not getting this!

LOL fogot to post ahaha well here it is http://www.dvdvideosoft.com/ when u save the file u comverted into your put it under camera folder...THEN go to myu videos and tv icon in the instict then go to the camcorder tab then go to camera and there the videos will BE SAVED NOTE//// The videos will not be showed throught the regular camera icon only through the icon of my videos and tv Well there u have it i hope u figure it out before christmas I know I would love to someone to help me if i were in the same position WEll merry christmas to you and all of you family.
