Right when I was watching the video, my phone battery died, so I tried it immediately, and it worked so easy! This is only me 2nd day with the phone, and I've changed the battery a lot already. I'm glad I saw this video right now so I never have to go through the picking and pulling of the battery cover again! lol

Thanks for posting this video! I'd been having the hardest time trying to figure out how to remove it with hurting my hands and fingers!

I can now open my battery cover with one hand!  Woohoo!

Hold phone like a can of tobacco (for all you dippers out there), Index finger over the headphone jack, thumb at a 45 degree angle over SAMS, push thumb up, voila!

Jesus ... finally got the sucker off with your video. Thank you! This phone has some drawbacks to people with acrylic nails and small hands!

I'm a bit rougher with my phones since I have service plans on them.. but 2 methods I use:

(if it gets difficult)
1. Hold the phone between both of your hands, maximizing your surface area you are touching to both the screen and back cover, and not 'folding over' the sides so you dont prevent yourself from opening the cover. Slide your hands apart while pushing your hands together.

(Preferred)
2. Same as was on the phone's sticky when I bought it. Lie the phone over your fingers (both left and right hands) so your thumbs are free to move around, and your device is resting on your fingers. Place thumbs on the center of the device near the top half of the phone (Under camera, above battery section) Apply downward pressure and slide the back cover up.

I used to use the side rails along side the battery cover, but sometimes I feel that's a bit more difficult.

The hardest removal I feel is if you push on the battery itself -- ESPECIALLY if you push in on an empty battery compartment (such as when you first get the phone with no battery in it)

Just a small spray of silicon on the tabs made mine work easily without being too easy.  I reapply once a month.

I'm going to close this forum. I believe it has covered plenty of ways to remove the battery cover.

If you have any more questions regarding this, please "search", it is your friend.
