Hai Everyone,

So I would like to increase the volume of my Instinct.

I use the Telus Canada network and I have the TV and XM Radio features (that cost 15$ each..YIKES) and they are almost inaudible.

For example if I am walking down the street I can't hear anything. Regardless of headphones, or setting the phones volumes to maximum, I just cant hear anything. Same goes for the MP3 player however that is a little better. At least I can hear it.

Is there a menu option hidden in those ##secret# things that give you this option to increase the system volume rrrrrrrrr wtf?  I'm afraid to use anything cause I'm a noob and I don't want F my phone up.

Since buying this phone it has been disappointment after disappointment and I feel if I can't get these features to work I give up.  This board and the people here have really saved it for me and I appreciate any help with this.

d.

EDIT: Yes I searched this topic and found another relevant thread. They mention to use MP3GAIN for mp3 volume increase but does not solve the problem of the radio and tv. Must be a system option somewhere  Undecided

One option you have for MP3's is to use MP3Gain, increase the gain for every mp3 file, which should help the volume a bit.

But yeah, the volume is a bit of a global problem.  Even the turn by turn directions on the NA telenav you have to practically max out the volume to hear directions well in a fairly quiet car.
