I called in and most of our network features will be active when the Sprint Network updates our accounts.  When you see the instinct listed as your phone in your online profile you should be good to go.  Until then you'll get the config message

Mobile Synch is not operative from the web or the CD enclosed with the phone.

Lets revive this thread and stir into a new direction....
Now that some of us have the phone who has been able to get the Mobile Sync feature working?
I have added all of my contacts to the web but when I click Sync nothing happens.
On the phone when I go to settings-->Mobile Sync I get "your mobile sync feature is being registered. this can take some time" message. Its been like that for a few hours now...Everything else is working fine.
Any similar experiences?

I got the phone yesterday morning at 8AM and have been pushing the Mobile Sync setting button and I get the message "Your Sprint Mobile Sync choice is being registered. This may take a few minutes. Please check back later." since yesterday. Just tried again now, still the same message even though today is the "official" launch day. I haven't called sprint yet on this but may have to if this doesn't get resolved. The Mobile Sync feature is not very impressive. It seems that the website contacts wipes out my phone and outlook contacts when I press sync. I hope some 3rd party app comes out and allows us to actually sync contacts and calendar with outlook.

Well this is kinda what "sync" mean...Just like iTune wipes out everything on your iPod when you sync. Maybe an inconvenient behavior but not surprising to me.
It's really annoying it doesn't work still. Now i get people calling and texting me and I don't know who they are (especially funny with texting:) )

I had this problem and the tech at Sprint told me to do a hard reset and re-activate the phone, Mobile Sync now works perfect.

I could not get my contacts to import or anything on  the sprint mobile sync.

I called into Sprint and they said there is an issue with all instincts thats critical where people can't upload their contacts or import them or even sync them properly.

Apparently its supposed to be fixed by midnight tonight. As I cannot import a CSV file and then Sync to my new Instinct.

Last night around 10:00pm i finally got my csv file from outlook imported into sprint.com. Around 10:00am this morning I started to receive my contacts OTA after clicking sync on my contacts page on the website.

When I tried to import my CSV file I exported, it sat there for a long time  then eventually errors out and says try again.

I tried it with a windows CSV & DOS CSV.

I tried it with Firefox and IE 7.0.

Sprint told me it could still be issue with them not having updates for the phone on the site yet? I am concerned I still can't make it import but you could heh.
