I see a lot of discussion on how to repair scratches, but what isn't exactly clear is if its something a Sprint service and repair shop would be willing to fix, even for a fee. My wife JUST got her Instinct replaced, and was using the leather case in lieu of a screen protector, and it slipped out in her purse and got at least 3 nasty scratches. I feel bad for her, and I want to fix it without having to shell out $100 in insurance deductable.

If your a DYI type of person you could buy a new screen and replace it.
I found a replacement screen on ebay.

Wow, that same part was about $70 at PDASmart.com. And yes, I am a DYI kinda guy but wouldn't this void the warranty? Aw hell, I'll probably do it anyway. Thanks!

I know that one of my local stores offered to replace my screen when my touch screen "ruptured"...
