So after sitting on the phone before I was going to cancel I was promised simply everything plan 450 min (the $69.99 plan) with 15% off and $10.00 off as well.

I get the instinct today, can't activate... long story short...

The guy who promised my plan mess up bad.. He just added what the simply everything plan had onto my plan I already had... so it doesn't work with the instinct because its not actually the simply everything plan and they're saying they can't give me those discounts I was promised.

I've been with them for 6 years and I already had 15% off, tell me why I'd sign a contract with no discounts.. Please...

Tell me what I should do, I'm about to call and cancel tonight..

Yep, just keep threatening to cancel. Sprint (and most other large companies) won't do too much in the way of discounts until you threaten to walk away. I forget the exact amount but it costs more to find a new customer than to give a discount to keep one. Remember you are the one with the power!

The only problem is that now mobile phone companies are now allowed to just drop you as a customer for complaining too much (which is stupid because most people have valid complaints rather than those who complain just to complain!) This definitely lets them off the hook for having to provide actual good services!!!

Never accept a "no" from someone who does not have the authority to say "yes".

When I speak to anyone over the phone, I always keep this in the back of my mind. If things seem to run on I will ask them if they have the authority to give me what I want. If they say no, I ask to speak to someone who does.

Well, I used to get 27% off before I switched to the SEP.  I called and asked about why the discount wasn't applied to the SEP I was told....

"Since the SEP includes everything at a very discounted rate, they are not allowing us to get the discount on the already discounted price."   Grin

I do get the discount on my second phone line since it's a regular plan but the discount will not be applied to the SEP.

Well I was told they are e-mailing someone higher then them (I was on the phone with cancellation) and if they say they can't help I'll cancel cause that is ridiculous. I'm going to call after I get my answer and continue to complain, and i'm going to e-mail e-care.

The best they could do at the time was the 15% off SEP but I was guaranteed something better and even though they say "it's not possible" it is as other members have posted better deals.
