White Screen on Resume or Unlock

This has happened to me several times... I get a call, message, alarm, etc... and the screen is all white... I can't see or do anything... I can here my ringtone that I have setup for each of the wakeup featues...

Pressing the power button does not do anything... it does cycle thru a dim white screena and a white screen but nothing else... sometimes if I wait long enough (backlight off, which I have set for 1 minute)... I can press the power button and get my wallpaper back and then press the power button to unlock...  there have been times when even that does not work... like this morning... I even tried removing teh battery for several minutes but it still came back to that white screen...

I have tried pressing all the buttons and can't seem to get any response... the touch screen does not do anything nor do the back, home and dial buttons, even though they are lit...

The only way out of it is to repeatedy press and hold the power button and eventually it will shutdown and then I can power on and get back in ok....

I am still within my 30 days so I will return if this is a hardware defect...

This seems to happen atleast once a day and is very annoying...

Yea I would head back to Sprint also
