had my cell phone in a hot tub for a few minutes, dried it out with some rice and silica packs, and now it seems to work fine.  only it wont connect to anything.  it will 'enter the service area' and have bars on the screen, but you cant make a call or use any data services.  anyone have any thoughts/solutions to this?  i will give it another day or 2 before i take it apart and see if there is something obvious going on, but any input would be appreciated.  thanks, also, does anyone know where or if there is a water damage indicator on this thing?

Do you have the $4.00/month insurance with the phone?  I wouldn't start tearing things apart so it doesn't void any warranty or insurance claim.  Tell them you dropped it in water and they should replace it.  The insurance does cover water damage.
