Touch screen concern

How much pressure can the touch screen take before it is damaged? I was using the stylus and the liquid crystals in the screen were distorting. There's no scarring, but I was concerned that opening the battery cover could damage the screen because for me it requires alot of force, enough that I have to brace the phone against one hand on the touch screen side. I haven't noticed any damage but still. Would the insurance cover such an occurrence?

Probably not, depends on the damage, if you had insurance I wonder if you could just "lose" it and they'd replace it for you with a $50 fee if there's something really annoying.

In any case, I'd recommend getting a skin protector like the one from invisible shield or bestskinsever...I use the latter and my screen is still spotless after a month.

Iactually read that after I opened it lol. I tried using that method but it was still too hard so...

Iactually read that after I opened it lol. I tried using that method but it was still too hard so...

Mine was really hard to open in the beginning. Per someone's suggestion, I rubbed the tabs with a candle to put a little wax on them and it's very easy to open now every time.
