Ok, craptacular verizon dsl is being nice today. Check these 2 links out, the second one is where you change hybrid mode.

Regarding the first link, if anywhere in there you hear talk of changing the slot index value, DO NOT do this. This will actually cause you to miss calls. The slot index value tells your phone how often to check the tower for incoming calls and messages. I believe the OP deleted this from his post, but I wanted to warn you just in case. Have fun

I am trying to understand all agles of the phone. I really love it! I bought and came back to the store 2 later to exchange the phone bc it wasnt working right. while I was there isold 3 and showed the guy who sold me mine how to use features he didnt know about. lol. I Like knowing Wink

Yea. I know but I pay $8 a month and I could go in the store and break it on the counter and tell them it doesnt work and they replace it for free!!! I love that feature. My buddy has the same phone I used to have (i870) and he skipped it across the parking lot in front of them.. still replaced for free... its a really good deal. The only thing they dont cover is lost and even that is only $50 through insurance.
