Take it to Sprint and show them what happens. Either they reset your connection or replace the instinct.

Did you by chance switch your phone to EVDO only?  The speed hack is not a speed hack and you will have screwed your phone up, it should be put back on "HYBRID MODE" This will fix your problem.....

Its supposed to be at 7, but 2 is fine, I have mine set to 1.  The lower the number the more often your phone checks for calls, txt, etc....but it will also drain your battery faster because its checking more often.

The slot index is by default set to 2, setting @ 7 is too high and will cause you to miss calls, messages, ect.

This is why I'm a bit causous when making changes you never really know what else they effect.

I just wish Sprint would do some of these things that will work better in an update.

Sadly, I've had to take a new stance when it comes to tweaks...... watch what happens to everyone else for a day or 2 then decide if it's worth it Smiley

If your instinct isn't recieving/sending messages as it's supposed to, you nay have a defective device that needs replacing. Hopefully it can be fixed by sprint over the air though

He did one of the mods to his phone posted here, and selected a setting he shouldn't have. From what I see, looks like his issue is resolved.
