Ok, so on my quest for apps i have done something stupid and downloaded the pocket express 3rd edition program that i now realize i didnt need anyway and of course w/o the keyboard fix it doesnt work. Anyway, the problem is that now when i attempt to open the sports, movies, etc. apps under the web menu it takes me to the setup screen for pocket express 3rd edition and i cant do anything. When i attempt to press the '+ tap to add' button to delete the download it goes to the same screen and it didnt download under games/apps so i cant fig out how to delete the program. How do i undo this and can it be done w/o resetting the phone? I hope! Help me

Even hard resetting may not do it. I know when you hard reset the P.E. doesn't revert back to what it was when you bought the phone. IDK what to tell ya...wait till the 12th when the update comes out?

Mods will move it if they see fit. I would also try going into the "tap to add" menu, going to the little gears, and checking for an update, it may well revert you to what sprint gave you, instead of what you have.

Why did you download pocket express to begin with?
Anyways, your probably going to have to take it to a Sprint repair store
and have them re-flash the phone.....
Hope you get it working again...Good luck..

I looked up what we had listed previously as the direct URL for the upgrade to the version of PE that's on our phones... here's the post that contained--

------
This might be the URL for the Pocket Express update:

http://www.handmark.com/downloads/2483/Samsung-M800-EX.jad

I received the update today and when I clicked to install it, it took me to that url.
-------

Not sure if that would be of any help, but wanted to share.

Worked perfectly! Even reverted back to the custom settings i made regarding sports teams to watch, chosen movie theatres, cities to view weather reports, etc. Im just curious now as to if the download replaced and deleted the wrong version i installed this morn. or just replaced it as the default version to open. No worries though.... i have plenty o' space. Thank you!! Did u recognize the song i was referring too?

Oooh Oooh I love name that tune...  Is it the old Classics IV song?   As for the bad PE version, I'm not sure if it's hanging out somewhere on your phone or not, especially if it isn't accessible from any of the + menus. You could always shoot a message off to the Handmark folks and see what they have to say. Glad you're at least functional again though!

just type that link in your browser, and download/install the file.  That fixes everything.
