I have noticed that I cannot fast forward nor really rewind a long (an hour long) piece of music. The slider just keeps jumping to the begining of the song. Sometimes it will go forward just a tiny bit (3-4 minutes) forward, but if I try to get to the middle of the song, jumps right back to the begining. Very frustrating - is that happening to anyone else or is it just me? I noticed this only on long wma songs that are about or over an hour long. Anything shorter acts normal.

Please use the search function next time.
This topic has already been discussed.

You can use file seperators to seperate long files such as yours and use it as couple pieces instead of long ones.
This way, you can fast foward or rewind.
Try googling MP3 cutter.

Thanks for the suggestion - will do another search, I did one before posting on "music player" and found nothing on the topic. Just as a side comment - the fact that we have to split longer songs just to play them like any player out there does, makes Instinct's music player yet another app that just plain blows! Sorry, didn't wanna vent but can this multimedia phone do anything right without some glitches and issues at all? Music player, GPS, browser, keyboard, radio, tv, news, weather, alarm, voicemail, calls going into lala land, phone resetting, calendar just to name a few popular items all have issues and yet are quite old and proven technologies. Just put them on the phone and all goes to heck. there, done venting...

Electronica/House/Classical music can be over an hour long. Also, radio shows and so forth.

PS: I don't split mine, but I cannot fastforward past the 30 minute mark. I can get up to the 30 minute mark by sliding it a little at a time but if you go past 30 mins, it'll go back to start.
