media player error

I have a metropcs flashed instinct with internet and I cannot view any internet videos on my phone like youtube vids. I get an error message -- media player error: unable to play. play aborted-- please help

There's not a lot of info on the forum for instincts flashed to metropcs, or cricket. From what i've gathered you guys are pretty much sol.
