Hi everyone,

I am having problems sending and receiving files on Bluetooth from other phones (Nokia N95 and Sony Ericsson k770i)

Dunno what's going on ...

When I send files from the other phone, I get a message on my phone asking for permission to accept the file, then it says the other device has disconnected.

Well if by sounud files you mean music you can not send from the instinct.  As far as receiving music files.  From personal experience I got an error message when receiving music files but i did come through.  You have to access it by browsing your files through the email feature.

As far as photos I couldn't tell you what's wrong.  DOEs the other phone also say it's disconnected?

The other phone says "Item not accepted by other device. Retry?"

Did you do a power cycle? (turn phone off then back on)

If that doesn't work then do a soft reset.  While the phone is on.  Take battery out for 2 minutes  put battery back in and turn the phone back on.  That's the only advice I can give you.  Sorry man!

That worked Smiley Thanks for the help.

I did not turn off my phone since buying it. The power cycle solution did the trick.

Cheers,
- Sunny

Glad to hear it.  Sometimes features on the phone get jammed up.  Power cycling fixes quite a few minor problems so glad it worked for ya.

Have you configured an e-mail account yet?

Well if you did.  Open the email application.  Look for the window icon on the top left and click it.  In there you'll see an option to "Browse Files."

If you didn't configure an email account it MAY be the same but I haven't tried it until after I configured my e-mail.
