And please be unbiased when responding. I know it's a minor thing but how customizable is the phone? Like the menu? Colors, icon arrangements, etc? What about background wallpapers? When I tried to go to "home" on the demo phone at the Sprint store all it had were menu grids, not even a picture background. I see a wallpaper forum but the question still stands. And I'm sure mp3 ringtones and ringback tones are available?

As a side question, (and again, please be honest) is anyone bothered by the laggy/non-creative transitions the Instinct has? Compared to the Dare and iPhone the menu/features/app transitions were either laggy or mundane - as in simple and not creative. And by "transitions" I mean when you switch from one feature to another. It could be anything from opening a menu to flipping through "pages" or song lists - you get the jist. Just being an honest observer, not trolling. Please feel free to correct me for I only had a couple of minutes with it. I'd be 100% sold if it weren't for that low-tech browser.

Thanks in advance.

Anyone here with the actual phone? I'd really appreciate a response.

Its pretty much not customizable at this point. Its been out for less then a month and the developer contest hasnt even ended yet. So for right now you can change your wallpaper on your unlock screen and customize your favorites screen. We all expect to see different themes and such in the near future but its just speculative.

Ah, I see. Well, since a Sprint dev commented on the "transition" updates already I guess that answers all my questions.

In the end though this phone's redeeming quality is it's ability to get fixed, or grow, depending on how you look at it. Not helping my fence sitting though.
