Getting Voicemail Freezes Phone

Every time my phone gets a new voicemail, the phone freezes up really bad (not just the normal 60 second freeze that sends back to the speed dial page). I often have to take out the battery to get the phone to function again.

It only seems to freeze when I'm using the phone to do anything while the visual voicemail is coming in. Is anyone else's doing this? Is there a way to rollback the version of the voicemail that I'm using, because it seems as though it's a corruption in the software?

I've noticed this lately too. Mine is doing the exact same thing yours is. Did you find a solution yet?

I'd chalk it up as another MR6 (Virus Clone Instinct infector ) glitch....as long as the o.p. has MR6....is that what version you have macnug?...CD17?

I can't say for sure how long mine has done this. I don't usually get a lot of voicemails because my DDTM is toggled off. And too, if the phone is in standby, they come through fine. I just noticed this being a consistent problem the other day. I can reproduce it at will, so I think i'll give Sprint a call.

Oh, and macnug's post was in April, so that was pre-mr6. Maybe the last voicemail update?

rotfl....feeling noobish....
Haven't had this one yet... most I get on the weird side now is when the phone starts ringing...it sounds like static is in with the ringer and sometimes answering the call at those times ( when sliding up ) it isn't so smooth either...
