Error #97 Message not sent

okay got a new one, at least i couldnt find anything when searching. tried to send a text and this is what i get :

"Account Error: Message not sent. Please contact customer care and report a code 97 when sending messages."

any help??

edit sorry: my service has been shutoff....lmao wtf

sprint gets better by the day

edit 2: i always pay my bill online, the customer serivce rep said someone tried to pay over the phone with an account that does not exist.....some crazy stuff.....wish i would have kept that last confirmation number when i paid on the 19th.....oh well error 97 when texting means your service has been shutoff

wow all my online payments show up as check by phone.....anyone else pay online and have the same affect?? oh well service is back on and this will just be a mystery 4 evar......mods can lock now

I just got this error when trying to send a text to my boyfriend.
Tried to resend it and got the same message.
Tried to resend it a second time and it went through.
