email set up problems

Please keep in mind that any response to my issues - please keep in simple language.  I am not a computer person, so the simpler, the better.

I was able to set up my email for my home (a bell sympatico account in Canada) but the reason why I bought the phone is to access my company emails while I am on the road all day.
So, under email, I clicked - other domain
I put in my office email address, put in my password (which IS correct), then I agree to all the terms, but the message comes up as Incorrect password or .NET passport.

Now, I am able to access my office email through the web browser (but it is hit and miss and very sluggish and uses alot of battery)

Does anyone know how I can set up my office email on the Email access?  Can I do it somehow from my home computer?

I called Bell and Samsung and they both say that it has to come from our office IT people so they can set it up and our local tech says that it has to come from the samsung instinct.  Well, actually Bell told me that the Samsung Instinct is not to be used for web browsing or emails - what world are they from?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
