I have about 300 contacts in my database. I changed one contact on-line, and now I have half the back half (say "M" through "Z") of my contacts showing as duplicates on my phone. The on-line database seems to be OK, though.

Any thoughts?

So far I'm not very impressed with the Mobile Sync.  The duplicates, and "import" from outlook are "interesting" at best.  I was having weird errors from the site today as well.

Does NOT instill confidence.

I've had similar problems with Mobile Sync. I have some contacts that are locked and my phone and can't be edited or deleted. Others are duplicates. When/If I ever get my phonebook sorted out I'm disabling moble sync for good.

After working a bunch with a very helpful tech and my CSV file, I finally just went to the Sprint Store near me and had them copy my contacts from my PPC-6700.  I've still not (as of this post) gotten them up to Mobile Sync, but at least they are on my phone.

I hope the Sprint programmers are listening, as the webapp needs some serious TLC.

Ran into the same thing.... the first day mobile sync worked perfect and I was pleased. The secong day I noticed that it was duplicating contacts and adding "no name" contacts. When I went to sprint.com to try to edit and resend it became a nightmare... sometimes I would get about half... after 6-7 times I then deleted them all and tried doing a .csv import from outlook directly to sprint sync... but that didnt work either. It was getting very frustrating... you could not refresh all the contacts from sprint because they had to have the little yellow box next to them which means I had to go and edit every single one to get them tagged for refresh....

Here is what i did,
deleted all the contacts from sprint sync, then waited till my phone was completly flushed empty. Then I disabled the sync feature, conected to my laptop via blue tooth, opened up outlook and highlighted all my contacts, then dragged them to my phone in my computer... the phone asked for permission to add the contacts... i said yes and 2 min later... Done... Finally with no issues

I really dont care about the contact sync... What we need is a calendar sync with outlook. I am using Google sync to sync outlook to Google Calendar (works great) then I set a bookmark to the Google calendar on my favs... (works good for now)
