Ok I know I am not crazy. But I have been noticing some of my contacts are disappearing. At first I thought I forgot to enter them. But today one of my family member's information is gone and I know I had them in the phone. I have Mobile Sync enabled and I think that is the problem. It alerts me when my contacts are backed up and I think it's deleting them at the same time. Since there is no way on the phone that tells me how many contacts I have in the phone I just have to check them periodically.

I don't know of a fix, but I had the exact same thing happening, and so did my wife.

The problem is Mobile Sync. I just transferred a contact via bluetooth to the Instinct. I accept it and it's in the contact list. Few seconds later I got the alert my contacts were backed up. Went back and check the contact is gone. Since I can't access my contact info on Sprint.com, Mobile sync is off until there is a fix.

This problem occurs when you use the service programming, and all you have to do is on your sprint account just export the contacts and save them to the desktop, and then delete the contacts on your phone and on the mobile sync page, and then just import them back and this should fix your problem, and after a half an hour the sync will add the contacts back to your phone and thats all you have to do.

1) how do you export the contacts from your phone??
2) how do you import the contacts in sprint.com, all at once, so you're not manually entering each contact?

Thanks for any help.

I exported the contacts that were backed up on the sprint.com website to Outlook on my computer. And then tried to sync up with my phone. This worked, partially. There were a number of contacts that did not tranfer over (weird). I had to go to the Sprint store where I signed up for the phone and had the rep transfer the contacts from my old T-Mobile razr to my Instinct again, like they did when I first go the phone 2 weeks ago. That seemed to work, although it seemed like some numbers didn't transfer over. So weird.
