Recently i have not been able to access facebook mobile or gmail.... facebook just pops up with "error in communication" and gmail does nothing at all.. the yellow load bar doesnt not move at all... Undecided

anyone else have this issue or any suggestions?

My mobile facebook works perfectly for me. I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY!

Facebook working good over here. my only gripe is my phone freezes EVERYTIME i get out of the web and click on something else. no biggie but its pretty annoying.

connection is seemingly fine. im actually posting this from my instinct.
i'm just having issues with facebook.. been going on for last few days. tried everything i can think of to possibly fix it.. nothing..

also the mobile gmail site wont load at all anymore either. never had these probs before; accessed these sites everyday.

I also have the same problem. My friend who was sitting  next to me, logged onto facebook with  his Rumor with no problem. The only way I was able to get on facebook was through my old history. But if i type   it in and try to go to facebook.com i get the same error message.

i just got my Instinct this week on Thursday and I was able to access facebook mobile, youtube & aim (gmail works fine for me) and then later in the day right up to know it hasnt worked for me.  Ive been on the phone with tech support for the last few days and they cant figure it out.  I live on Long Island & work in NYC and one of the reps told me there were data alerts in Brooklyn, the Bronx & NJ and Ive spoke with other reps who have tried EVERYTHING but to no avail and told me to exchange me phone.  I exchanged my Instinct for another new one but I still have the same problem.  I'm a bit relieved I am not the only one with this problem, perhaps it is a network problem with the data centers.

I have ran through every solution tech support has had to offer me over a 2-3 day span before they told me to exchange the phone and that still hasnt solved it. I am getting the same "error in communication" message when I try to access either. Resetting the phone still wont solve the facebook/youtube problem but possibly the gmail one. You'll lose ringtones,settings & any text msg and phone call history.

It seemingly is a network problem, I'm wondering if it is regional or what.  Do you live in or close to the NYC/NJ area by any chance?

ah sorta makes sense then. Like I mentioned, they told me there was maintenance & work being done on their data towers in brooklyn, bronx, & nj so it seems to be more of a regional problem that we unfortunately are on the receiving ends of.  Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.
