I think I found a workaround for the browser crash (when exiting the browser, the phone locks up and kicks back to the sped dial after a few seconds).  I wasn't able to find it posted.

Basically, you want to hit the second browser button from the top on the left side (the one that zooms the page out so you can zoom into a movable window) and be in that view when you exit.  It avoids the crash completely.  I'd like people to try it, I tried it several times and it seems to work.

1.  it's stupid
2. we shouldn't have to do anything like this

But hopefully it'll help a little until things get sorted out.

Again, i didn't see this posted, ignore it if it has been posted previously.   Grin

(Nope, we don't have this anywhere that I can think of.)  When are you suggesting people hit that button? As it starts to crash?

This is for the crash that happens when you exit the browser with the Home button.

The idea is that you switch to the zoomed out mode before exiting the browser.  I would be surprised if this always bypasses the issue though...

If it bypasses the issue why wouldn't it work every time?

Regardless, the point is to try it and see, and enjoy it if it does.  It certainly worked every time I tried.

Thanks for clarifying, papped.  I was thinking of it as a workaround for when sites crashed the browser, now I got it.
