I just got a packet form Asurion (the ppl that do the insurance on our phones). They plan on raising the deductables on the instict to 100 bucks just wanted everyone to know

i believe they will be implementing it within the next couple of months. There are alot of Sprint phones going to the $100  deductable.

Tell you what, 100$ is better than 400$. I will gladly pay that for a different phone if mine breaks.

yeah but with the phones now getting up in price they realize people will pay it and thats less than they have to. I wonder about the phones you get though. They are refurbished so I wonder how much they pay for them.

My biggest problem is what Sprint decides when it's time to go through Asurion or not.

An unfixable Phone could be something as simple as the headphone jack breaking and them not having the part. I have no problem with the $100 deduct if it was for Damage or lost but for broken Phone this gives them an out .

I haven't had to use it on any of my Phones yet but with 5 Phones this gets into a grey is it worth it area.

I see what you are saying, it would be nice if the Sprint or whoever your provider was had a better phone garage in store so they could fix it if it were simple. even if they charged 20 or 30$ to fix it quick. I agree that they might just know it may not be a hard fix but they are just so quick to say its broke call the insurance company. For the most part all they do is check to see if there is water damage on the color change sticker.

My main problem is they raised the deductable but they still send you a referb phone. if im paying $100 bucks(witch is what i paid for it to begin with). I want a new one lol

Yep, thats what sucks about it. they can give you a new phone for a hundred bucks and also a refurbished one. LOL
