ok so i pluged my instinct to the 360 and it detects the phone but is their anyway so i can take calls still? it just says connected to computer

yes on your phone go to the dialer pad, and enter this, ##872#, then connect it to the 360 or computer and you will be able to recieve calls when connected.

out of curousity where do you guys get these code/numbers? and btw my phone doesnt sync after i hit that =(

The codes are posted around the forum.

Also that code turns your phone off of mass storage or usb mode so thats why it no longer syncs, although it should still be charging.  You cant use your phone and access ur files through a computer or 360 at the same time.

Edit - apparently i was incorrect you can sync at the same time. But I havent tried it myself just going off of the posts below.

IF you use that code the phone should still be able to sync because i did it while i used that code with windows media player, but i never tried it on  my 360 or ps3.

ok using that code does let it sync to your 360 still all you gotta do though is restart your 360 if you try before you punch the 872 code in

Somone posted on another blog that if, right before you plug in your phone to your comp/360, you hit the speech to action button then it will work. U hit the speech button plug it in when the menu pops up and u should from what it said be able to make calls and have the 360 read it for pics/video/ and music.
