Well, that was just another (Brit) example of non-U.S. English slang. "Laughing gear" would be one of my favs from Down Under.

I don't know what you're angling at, fine fellow. I'm sure one could fill up several volumes of encyclopedias with things that non-U.S. English speakers eat, that I'm unaware of. But then again, that wasn't the point of that little exercise, and obviously the attempt at humor was lost on you.  Wink

Naah,  it just makes me grin how many Americans have no real clue about 'brits' but constantly try.  I have never had bangers and chips in my life (bangers and mash I have but never for breakfast).

After living as an Englishman (not a brit) in the USA for so long and having so many ignorant people say I am either Scottish or Irish and even arguing with me that I am not English because I don't talk like they do in the movies or hold a teacup with my pinky finger out or say 'tata pip pip cheerio'  then yeah I think the humour has almost been bashed out of me.

Cheesy   tis all good though.  I hate England and love the country I now call home.

On track,   I hate the Sonic game because it's almost unplayable due to single touch.
