hey I found these free apps on getjar the other day and I think they're great and work well on the instinct so I thought I would share

Chord Maestro is a versatile free software program for your cell phone that displays chord diagrams for various instruments, including guitar, ukulele and banjo. It`s a helpful program for learning chords, writing songs, and training the ear. Also includes a metronome.
to download: Open wap.GetJar.com with your mobile -> Quick Download -> enter Quick Download Code 8389

Guitar Trainer is another app that helps you learn notes and it is only a demo, but it also includes a tuner that works great to tune guitar, bass, banjo, mandolin, or ukulele
to download: Open wap.GetJar.com with your mobile -> Quick Download -> enter Quick Download Code 17154

I'm sorry but I've tried these before and...yeah. Not really working all that well. The chord maestro was ok for simple chord shapes...but didn't really work the way I'd hope.

The metronome maestro was pretty decent...but only when set to midi...the click was a decent tone.

On that note, check out Metronome and Tuner by Jman...

You'll be glad you did.

Hello everyone

One question, what are those numbers in parentheses?  C(1/10)
I thought it's the number of ways a chord can be formed, but it changes as you change lowest fret.

Thanks in advance!

Not happy with this metronome app.

-The beats are not sharp "click" "click" "click" they drag the sound. This throws the music lessons off when the need is for the student/musician to be exactly on beat.
-The slider feature for setting the beat/speed is cumbersome. It's too difficult to go to exactly the tempo needed without fiddling with one or two digits up and down. Requires that I take time away from the music students.
-There's a drag/delay ever so slightly when transitions after the final beat in 4/4 or 6/8 etc. Accuracy is so important.

Disappointed...yes, I am.
