First off, excellent name, you're from Hawai'i I presume? lol

On-topic, doubt Mario woukd ever work as it needs multi-touch which we don't have.  Mario has a lot of running and jumping while running, or running and spitting fireballs, etc.  There would be no way to do that without multi-touch because you need to hold the "D-pad" in the direction you're running and press the jump or "fire" button while still holding the direction.  If not you are left with a game like God of War or Dark Night, which are WRETCHED on the phone (sorry, I know a lot of people love them but IMHO they are crap), in which you have to stop moving to fight or jump, and that would never work for Mario.

It's unfortunate, as I'd love to play Mario (the original one) on the phone.

Could work but it would have to use the hard keys (like camera or voice command) to do one of the functions. But i still doubt we will see it any time soon, if ever.

EDIT - Actually now that i think about it you could probably use the volume keys to move right or left then the camera button to jump and the voice command to do other things like shoot fireballs and what not. But of course a programmer would have to look at it to be sure. Just a thought.

I actually did get a working gameboy emulator on my instinct. The only problem is that the game will not bring up the d pad. I have to figure this out :/
The rest however works, menu and all.

MeBoy works pretty well. If you're looking for "Mario" the closest thing (legally) you can get to is called IronHike. Playability is pretty good, very similar. Check it out...

BTW...ALL credit goes to KB.

Actually, its legal for you to download it but its illegal to post the rom's on the internet since (even if the poster have the game) you are not allowed to make your copy available to the public... So basically you are only allowed to create your own ROM... Anyway thats not gonna stop us right? jeje Wink
