Nope I have not moded my phone in any way. It must be something about the area I was in during the time of the test.

I can't tell any difference after the mod... wait, the first test was 100 (before mod), 250 after mod on the first test, (120 on the seconde test after mod), and finally 90 after mod, third test, and fourth test 102.3, so yeah it made mine slower actually.

EVDO is a type of 3G, I think you mean EVDO Rev A, or EVDO Rev 0.

Necro-post time. Decided, it's been a while since I've done this, and I don't know that anybody has run these with browser 1.1.

Using mobile speed test I was averaging around
762.6(ok so I got 762.6, 762.4, then 762.8 lol)

and nccw I got
671.1
596.5
715.8

I don't care what you say that's damn fast. My laptop was averaging 900KBPS-1MBPS

nccw  826kb tonight from B-more
mst   762kb

The rendering is still lagging a bit but with all the blocking Sprint is doing maybe this wiull all go away in a week or so.

I agree for a mobile Phone thats very fast and really all I will ever need .

I'm sure there are much faster connection speeds now that everyone is using Opera. With 4.2 Beta, I'm getting anywhere from 1 - 3 Mbps.   Shocked About time, because the Instinct browser was so slow that I haven't browsed in internet for over a month. Hopefully the subsequent individual app. updates that are supposed to come out tomorrow and Friday will fix that issue, because I'm sure most Instinct owners still use the default browser (and are unsatisfied with it).
