I am getting 200k and below on my speed tests. According to the EVDO map I am in a REV-A area. Anyone have any suggestions? Angry
Thanks

Hard to tell really because the browser sucks.  Even in good signal areas I get 400-500k using the browser, which isn't really phenomenal.

Also note that the coverage map lies.  According to one area I go to frequently the coverage is "very good", yet it's 0-2 bars all the time.  Even worse, signal can vary from phone to phone.

Around 200k for me is a normal speed test using the browser in a poor signal area.  So likely, I would say you are actually getting a rather poor signal.

I tried it both in the browser and my computer using it as a USB modem. Both are consistently below 200k.

Either it's not really using rev A at all, or it's a poor signal all the time.

are there two triangles next to your signal meter, or are they small arrows?

what's the difference in the arrows? I usually have 2 up and 2 down and the flash back and forth. Is that EVDO?

Read your owners manual.  Page 14, section 2A.

Im also in the ev do coverage area (miami for crying out loud) and my triangles always show im using the regular vision network. ive only seen the ev do triangles once. is there any settings i can change in the ##data# or debug menus to just run on ev do? ive tried boosting and although its slightly improved i still cant see those triangles with the skinny lines (except that one time)
