Seriously, the browser crashing at various web sites (nytimes.com, woot.com, imdb.com, etc., etc.) has been going on since day one for a lot of us. Nothing fixes it. Hopefully the update planned for "about one month from now" will finally fix it for good.

With much Browser testing, It seems to occur on sites with large images [ex. msnolympics].

The trick for 80% of these websites is to do a google search for the site, and click the returned link. This Google-built link will format the site for efficient presentation [ie. no large images] if the target site supports mobile [Most seem to].

Thanks for the tip NP...or workaround...

Sprint should have tested a little better QA testing before putting something into production.
I hope NY Times isn't paying Sprint a advertisement fee to have their page link on the main menu of the Instinct. I'd want a refund...

Problem is the websites themselves ...

Many only halfway support the mobile domain (although it's improving by demand). It's work for them to scale-down the flashy and resource intensive advertising drivel. "Just let the mobile browsers hang" they say ... until they notice traffic loss to mobile yahoo, msn and google.

The Google trick [above] is really useful for many sites, but NYTimes is still working on their mobile site.
