My internet is so insanely slow that it times out before I get a page loaded. If I turn the phone off then back on the internet works good for about a minute then gets realy slow again. Does anyone else have this problem or have any ideas that might help? Thanks in advance.

Try going to main then settings then web browser Clear Privacy Date Clear Cache Clear Cookies and History. Then take the battery out without shutting the phone off wait a few seconds put the battery back in then turn on phone Redo the Data Profile like you did before and try the net let us know if it works for you good luck

papped thank you for the link, however still no luck. All my websites work, It just takes a really long time to load. still timing out due to it taking so long. Everything web related, it doesn't even do automatic updates for the weather anymore. I really do appreciate all the help and will continue to try any other suggestions you guys may have. I've ony had the phone for five days and just don't understand why so slow.

Do you get good signal with other phones in that area?

It sounds like your signal/speed is just crap (which could be a phone radio issue, PRL issue, or just a general crappy signal problem).

papped, It doesn't matter where i am, I always have a good signal at work and same thing. What does PRL mean? I dont charge my phone, I just use the charge box and swap out batteries. Could that have something to do with it?

That shouldn't have anything to do with it.  Where are you located?  (general location!)  And also, do you have any other phones to compare speeds with?  Its a long shot, just trying to rule out the possibilities.

I'm located in a small town in virginia, and commute to a bit bigger of a city.  In the smaller town, I get crap web speeds as well. But I get a much better connection in the larger city, even though it shows more bars in the smaller town.

Gudge2004     I live just west of detroit and work just north of detroit. I get a pretty good signal. My wife has a palm centro and her web browser is fast.

I contacted sprint and they seemed stumped. they said they would call me back and never did.

Do you have problems with the other web based applications? (i.e. News, Navigation, etc)

pwagner   Yes, when I try to refresh news, weather, and movies. When I try to view the whole news stories it is slow also. When I turn off my phone and turn it back on it will be fast for about a minute.

I would take it to a store and get the phone replaced, on the basis that something might be wrong with the radio.

If you can show them how everything timesout/fails/etc it shouldnt be that hard.
