I like the phone overall but don't like the browser. Samsung had 1 year to learn from Apple iPhone competitor and come up with a browser comparable to Safari and even include flash support. It could of been killer app for the Instinct.

Samsung also could of worked with Opera to ensure that the Opera professional browser is compatible with the phone.

Neither was done and web pages don't render correctly on the phone so I am very disappointed with the Instinct browser.

Yeah...it sucks. At first I thought that the internet was slow. Now I realize that the connection is blazing fast, but because of the horrible browser, it doesn't shine.

I was pretty frustrated with the web browser today. If within 30 days trial they don't resolve the browser issues I am going to iPhone 3G when it comes out.

I was expected 3G speeds with Rev A EVDO but the internet is slower that EDGE iPhone.

I have had a lot of trouble trying to log into Ebay. Has anyone tried ebay? I agree the web browser needs to improve because honestly thats the only downfall.

I hate to say this, because I really love this phone but... the browser stinks. Craigslist crashes every time I go to it, hell I go two pages into the NY Times link on the home page and it crashes. It's buggy and problematic and I can not wait for that firmware update.

To make things worse, Opera Mini runs beautifully, if only the keyboard worked I wouldn't care about the OEM browser.

Please Samsung/Sprint whoever, fix the browser. I know you guys are working on it, but an ETA would be nice.

If sprint had just made the Instinct compatible with the standard Java keyboard Opera, Google Maps and a host of other apps would work jsut fine >.< Way to drop the ball on compatibility Sprint.

Figuring a likely firmware update, Opera Mini 4.1 + EVDO rev A is going to be disgustingly fast.

yeah opera mini 3 is already pretty fast on the instinct so opera 4.1 should be even better.

No flash support is basically expected.  Even skyfire is still in beta for WM.
