you wont by doing a restore...
go to ##3282# click on restore, the phone will turn off, then on. Check your contacts, they will be there... You can give me a cookie for this.. Wink

Mine started doing that also. I was told I need a new phone. I'm holding off just in case someone finds a fix?

There was another thread on this I just saw.. it seems many people are having this problem.  You guys had me paranoid, I just double checked mine lol

worked fine.. good for me, although I imagine that is little consolation to you all.  Logic seems to me it has to be a software issue, no way umpteen phones just up and failed like this..

Did you try deleting all the favorites and remaking them?

I had to have my phone reset, and that fixed the problem. just make sure your contacts are backed up on mobile sync. your games you can download again for free, so all you lose is ringers.

After speaking to tech suport, they told me to take my phone in to the nearest sprint store.  When I got to the store, the tech said he had never seen this problem and it must be a softwear problem.  So, he gave me a new phone.

i just recently had this same problem. it started happening after i deleted some of the existing bookmarks. after 1 hour of being on the phone and resetting it a million times. i was told by the tech that a more experienced tech would call me back within 36 hours. he called and sent me an email ticket and said to take it to the nearest sprint store to exchange it for a new 1.he tried to say hes never heard of the problem but i could tell by the way he was trying to explain it.... that this has been a reoccurring problem.

i got a new phone so im happy.

YES!!!  I just started to have the same problem.  I havent had and of the bugs with my phone that people have been talking about except the standard browser crashing on some sites, and not being to update the navigation... but today, I went to use the web and I went to go to my favorites and it would not work.  I tried to restart, I took the battery out while it was on, NOTHING has worked!
