because the point of a media phone is to be able to use simple text-based sites such as craigslist with ease and its crap that we have to have work-arounds just to be able to use our phone properly.  These are the software glitches that needed to be worked out before release.  I also found out that regardless of updates or not, my phone will not access craigslist.  I returned it for another one and made them give me another 30 days to try it out and trade up for the treo 800w if it doesn't work out.  I have spent around 8 hours now on the phones with tech support for the thing, and the top managerial tier of their system and the guy flat out said to return the phone because its more than likely a hardware problem.  He said the
"next gen" whatever that means will be better than the one I had so I shouldn't have any more problems.  We'll see.

Go to www.google.com

Then type .  www.craigslist.org or craigslist.org

Then u click the first link

scroll to craigslist.inc

choose ur state, ( i chose new york)

and there you have it...

way to get on craigslist with no freezing.

lol cookies welcome lol..

Well, gotta hand it to you that it worked, but I shouldn't have to go through 5 pages to get my browser to work properly.  On top of that, it doesn't appear the same as if I had just gone to the site and looked at it that way.

i know, but it works for me as I am looking for a new place, and really need craigslist.

why not just go to http://www.realtor.com and click on the "Rentals" tab and search your area? a lot of those will even have pictures.... or if you are buying just search on realtor.com

Craigslist is better than realtor Dot Com especially if you are not wanting to use a realtor like I was. I found my place on craigslist without a realtor, and managed to save a little money like umm a thousand dollars. It's Very hard, and stressing, but it can be done.

if you are buying 1,000 is nothing.... if u are renting then it is.... however most landlords pay for the realtor fee when you are looking at rentals.....

Realtors also give great insight into the area you are looking at.....

Good thing is sprints service is pretty good up here and signal is strong among the main highways, so you almost always have service.
