Sending Email?

An email was sending, I hit cancel. It went into the outbox. I then updated said email, and now for the life of me can't get it to send! Anyone encounter this or know how to get the email to send?
You hit the send button and it just closes the window and sits in the outbox. Same if you hit refresh.

Yes this happened to me i couldn't get it out so I highlighted it and deleted it. It did send the email though even though it stayed in that outbox....weird. Undecided

My emails are not sending either...type it up, hit send, and there it sits in my outbox...no one is receiving my emails....any ideas? It "used" to work....but not now.

Try a soft reset on the phone...pull out the battery while the phone is on, wait about 30 seconds, then put it back in.

Or, try updating your data profile.... goto main/settings/general/update data profile.

If these steps don't work, I would try deleting/re-entering the email acct. on the phone.

Ok, i somehow managed to get one email to send right after i did all of the above that u suggested, now i look in my "outbox" and it's full of unsent emails! I open them up and hit "send" again, but they never send....i redid everything u suggest AGAIN and it's not working.
I did everything except for "deleting/re-entering the email acct. on the phone" I don't want to screw anything up...can u guide me thru the "deleting/re-entering the email acct. on the phone" so i can do it sucessfully?

What kind of email are you using?

If you're using yahoo, g-mail, etc.

(I'll use yahoo as an example) open up your email, at the top of the page you'll see inbox.

Touch the Yahoo symbol on the left hand side of the inbox

This takes you to the email home page

Touch the gears symbol beside email home page

This takes you to email settings

Scroll down and touch reset application

Re-enter your info just like you did when you set up your phone

Thanx for your help...i reset the application, tried to reply to an email, and there it is in my "outbox" not in my "sent mailbox"
I'm using AOL...OH, I also took out the battery while cell was on, and theres still no change...still can't send my emails...it's sitting in my outbox! Again, i'm using AOL

Well, it happens also in me like your problem. But all I can do is to refresh the email then it sends the mail. But in your case, try to contact the service provider.
