Has anyone been able to sent up there Instinct to get mail from GoDaddy?  I have been able to setup my hotmail, gmail, and work e-mail but not my GoDaddy account.  Any ideas?

See if the patterns/examples in this thread help at all.

You didn't say what part of the process was giving you fits ... if it's the send, be sure to pay attention to the RoadRunner example for the outgoing server.

Unfortunately I can't even get the account configured.  I get the error message:  "Unable to log in to this account.  Please check your username and password and try again.  (S7118).  I did try to look at the examples from the link, but had no luck.

Thanks for the help.

Private message me your email address that you are trying to configure. I will remove it from the sprint database, then you can try to reconfigure it. This has worked for a few godaddy users in the past.

Check this site out.  A few other people are having that problem generating the same error code.  This link might or might not help you.

Unfortunately the s7118 error can come up for many different reasons. So there wont be a specific fix for it. Just because the resolution can vary so much from person to person.

Deleting the e-mail from the Sprint database seemed to do the trick. I was able to reconfigure the e-mail account and it seems to be working. Thank you bdroad for you help.

Thank you dfootball56 for your suggestion also.

The mail server should be mail.secureserver.net

The account name is your email address.

This is correct. If you still get s7118 after using these settings, send me your email address via PM and I'll take care of the rest.

I have tried everything. Talked to Go Daddy and Sprint twice. Nothing is working and each saying that everything is correct. Looked at all the hints on the forums. Still getting that S7118 error message. What else can I do. How do you get your email removed from the sprint database?

I'm having the same issue, i've tried everything, and i know a couple other people having the same issue. I called tech support to see if they could help and they just had me do a hard reset and then they created a ticket to see if its a network issue, from the sounds of it this will not fix it either. the tech guy said that there is no way to remove the email from sprints database but it seems like there is from what i've read above. How do you remove the email from the database?
