Hotmail / Live email setup

I have a email address @hotmail.com and I have another that is @live.com

I have no trouble setting up the @hotmail.com account, I just select hotmail and follow it along. @live is just another hotmail account so I would think it would be the same. I select live and follow it along the same way and when I am done I get the message unable to configure push email for this account. I don't understand. Can some explain what is going on and how to fix this. Thank you.

The auto push feature requests a service called notifications. When the client downloads your 25 emails it requests for a subscription to notifications. When hotmail or live fails to return this subscription, you see that message of no auto push on your device.

Try go into the email options on the device client and disable, then re-enable auto push or notifications to attempt to subscribe to notifications again.
