So google had contacts and calendar setup to sync when you configured gmail as an exchange server on certain phones. Now they announced that for WinMo and Iphone they have added Email Push also.

Any chance it will work for us through Seven? I know Seven had rumors of google calendar synching. What about email?

I'm not sure I understand your question. You're asking if Seven syncs google mail and calendar?

Is there a way, on the instinct, with the current email client, to sync google email and/or calendar if we set it up as 'exchange'?

Well, the only way you could set up a gmail account as "exchange" is to use the desktop connector application in conjunction with the client on your phone. This would also require you to setup outlook on your computer with the gmail account installed on it.

However, there will be an option to sync gmail calendar with the regular phone client in the future. Unfortunately I do not have an ETA for you.

This sounds like the right thread to ask this question in...my instinct will not refresh my e-mail.  About the time the fix happened in september that you referred to previously in this post, my email that had been working decided not to work and has not refreshed since the middle of september.  I have deleted, re-installed, received a new phone, deleted, re-installed, tried using the add manually option to enter the mail server info myself, and still have the same problem.  Sprint says it is a gmail problem (after 2 hours on phone with CS AND taking in to the store), and gmail says it is sprint problem.  I would just scrap it and go ahead and get the Hero, but if it really is a gmail issue i could be hosed on that phone too.  bdroad - have any ideas?

What do you mean by refresh? Do you mean it will not get emails pushed to your phone or do you mean that you cannot sync your inbox at all?

Explain in detail the exact behavior that you are getting. I'm sure can get you a resolution.

I meant when I hit the refresh button in the email app, it would not get my new email.  It would look as though it was retrieving it, then nothing would happen.  Not sure what the technical term is for that?  They did fix the problem.  Don't know if it was sprint or gmail, it just suddenly started working again after a month of not being able to load new email.  Don't know if it was calling or posting on here or gmail forum or what I did, just happy to have it working again!
Thanks!
