EDIT: Reverted the incoming options because it was giving me some small problems recieveing. The revert to default options seemed to correct. Still need people to test for me.

I added my comcast email with these settings.  It did not work on the RxTT network but once I was able to get EVDO it worked just fine.

Will the mobile server leave the emails on the server?  I'm not entirely sure how Hutch's method improved upon kuroshio's.

After much time, a call to Sprint (who said you could absolutely not access comcast.net with Instinct), I have found that suggestion #2 below from the comcast employee with the port address for outgoing mail of 465 works for me.  With the alternative port address of 587 in suggestion #1, I was still getting error message S7122.  I saw some alternative threads in the "How to" section resolving the POP issue with icmail, but for the moment, the comcast employee's suggestion works!  What an ordeal -- THANK YOU to the comcast employee -- this forum is the only way to get any answers.  Good luck and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I get this notice everytime I send out a email.
Notice
Unable to connect to the Sprint Mobile Email service. Please check your data connection and try again (S7122). What does that mean? It is getting kind of annoying.

From what email account are you trying to send when you get that error? That could mean a big difference in the response here. Smiley

From my comcast account. I recieve all my comcast email to my instinct. and I reply from it too.

I have gotten my comcast.net email to work, with the settings in this thread.
but I do have random issue sending email, but it does will get sent.

Have you tried m.comcast.net?

It Works Great! Comcast did a nice job setting up a nice simple interface, plus some nice extra links, TV Listings/Guide, News Weather, Horoscope, and of course Comcast email

Please use smtp.sprintpcs.com for comcast's outgoing mail server on the Instinct client.

Sprint Mobile Email was created to show you a live copy of your inbox. There is no option to leave a copy on the server unfortunately.

When you hit "Next" again, this will download the most recent 25 mails from your comcast inbox, telling you that it successfully logged into the incoming mail server.
