I just tried an animated gif, and all the forum showed was the first frame. Are animated gifs possible?

I tried it today and it didnt work. Are animated gifs only allowed for Senior Pro Members? I saw that - Z - have one...

Mine should be animated.  You have to put the file in correctly.

Well, this is definitelly a code thing. Your avatar is in GIF format but mine is changed to PNG format. Maybe they are using ImageMagik or other... The question is, what is the criteria? Only the owner of the page or webmaster can answer this I guess...

I think that they can't be over a certain size. Mine is 50X50.  I don't know what the max is for this forum.

If you use an off-site link it should work, as long as it's saved right in the place you link to
