as for the coveraqge issues. you may want to talk to sprint about giving you an airrave. As for the lockups (im asuming you have an M800/S30) thats just par for the instinct course....my phone hasent really had issues with locking up, but other people have. if you have any further questions ask away

This phone is buggy and poorly designed so, NO, you are not the only one having problems with it.  Oddly enough, reception is usually OK for me.  My main problem area is a problem for everyone, but I did have lots of problems in PA last spring.

If you are still within your 30 day window return the phone immediately.  The phone really is that bad.  I've grown so accustomed to giving up on broken features at this point that I generally use it for the bare necessities.  My next phone will probably be an old fashioned phone / text only unit.  I've found that since I can live without this stuff I'd rather have a lower phone bill.

Seriously, get rid of the phone if you can without being punished.  It really is that bad.

You might be able to use the new fee that sprint is charging to get out of your contract.

I've heard about that and I am hoping so bad that my rate goes up.  I jumped the gun and called up to drop out, but the fee hadn't yet been applied to my account and they claimed they wouldn't know until my next bill comes out.  I'm sure my call got me flagged as someone to not impose the fee upon which makes me mad.

If you have a spending limit on your account...and you are not enrolled in auto pay they will charge you the fee.

there is no guarantee, but this is your best oportunity.  I would call especially if you have noticed an aditional fee. The particular fee in question is charged to customers with an account spending limit AND not enrolled in auto pay.
hope this clears it up.
