i was hoping the unit will have the standard hdmi out jack, but i knew that was a long shot... i'm sure most of you who already picked theirs up @ BBM knows that it's actually the proprietary sammy jack and the other end will obviously be, hdmi...

i'm sure they will release the cable soon enough along with all the other accessories, but i'm just afraid they will retail for like 30 bux -___-;

at this price, they should have definitely included the cable  Angry

if you look them up online you will probably find one much cheaper someone on one of the other posts said they orgered one for 10 bucks. Good luck

Please be advised, it is not a proprietary Samsung jack, it is a standard mini-hdmi connector. You can get a cable here for under $6:

For a bit more you could probably get one locally if you can find a store that doesn't only push Monster Cable products your way. I'm thinking in the $10 range for a non-name brand version at a brick & mortar storefront.

o that was my second [and only other] guess, but the samsung jack fits in there, perfectly... i guess the connectors are very similar with different prong orientation...

I stand corrected! I ordered a mini hdim to hdmi cable and it most certainly does not fit. Today, I will go by the Sprint store and exercise my 25% discount on accessories assuming the cable is more than $30 and see if I can see a difference between the two.

ahhh, that's what i thought... i knew two different types of connectors couldn't have such similar [pretty much exact same] plugs/ports... in any case, i've already returned mine and got the limited edition hero laugh

I actually have the full invisible shield on the way for my Hero. Just received conformation of the shipping today.

i was never a fan of the partial coverage of those aftermarket skins; bound to peel sooner than later and they are overpriced... i'm a perfectionist and a nut for seeking that "clean" oem look, so to each his own... good luck with your hero~

id be careful with cheap cables too. I bought a cheap cable once and within a week the sound started crackling and the video was cutting out.
