Pressing the volume rocker with the camera on does nothing on my Instinct.  And I can't find any of the other features.  

I have the update from a few weeks ago installed.  Is there another one?

It DOES have a digital zoom. Just press the volume rocker while in camera mode. Volume down zooms in up to 4X in increments of .25(so it starts at 1.0 then 1.25, 1.75, 2.0 etc...)

Something cool I just accidently found out.  If you press one of your pictures and continue to hold, the yellow circle appears, and then gives you an option of " Finger Zoom "
Pretty neat, lol
