As the title says I'm on bell mobilitys service for Samsung Instinct here in Canada. I've used websites like Myxer and others to download ringtones fromt he internet, but when I browse there through my phone the browser will PLAY the ringtone not DOWNLOAD it. Quite annoying as I'm reduced to using the presets. Hopefully someone can help me with this. Thank you again in advance.

There may be better ways but I have been using http://rumkin.com/tool/sprint/ to get ringtones to my phone.

That's not the issue, I've found a out the problem through trial and error. Since we're with Bell, either the browser is set different, or the surfing experience it self is different. MP3 Files WILL NOT download onto (they play in your browser) your phone. WAV files on the other hand will. Use Rumkin + WAV files and you're good to go. Hope this helps people.

they have just about every file. you have to look at what type of file it says it is before downloading it.. go to ringtones then choose one and before you click download beside the name it should say wav, mp3, mp4 etc...

How do I convert my mp3 ringtone to a wav file? My ringtones download to my Instinct using the programs above, but there is no audio when I go to play them on my phone. Anyone else having the same problem?

You don't need to use WAV files.  I have successfully downloaded several MP3s to my phone using http://www.rumkin.com/tools/sprint.

I have tried going to the attached rumkin website for the last several days and I keep getting a "Gateway timed out message". I don't believe the site will make a difference as I said the other sites let me upload my ringtone and then download it to my phone. The only problem is that there is no audio when I go to play them.
