Hi,
I have been reading some posts regarding gmail crashing and stuff.  So here my two cents regarding what i think is causing this (this might sound weird to some of you Tongue)

So i bought my instinct on oct 29th and i tried to access the internet and it worked like a charm... including gmail full version until i on the 31th when i tried to access gmail again and it asked me if i wanted to accept the security certificate.  It asked me if i just wanted to accept it for now or forever or not at all.

The first time i logged in I selected temporarily and after a few logins on the 31st I selected permanently.  This is when the problems starting to occur on my phone.  From then on the phone started to reboot on me as soon as i signed into gmail.  But until this point in time i haven't tried facebook but as soon as i did that it rebooted on me.

My other problems on the phone included the media player, whose volume would always be low when i quit and restarted it... i had to manually increase the volume everytime on it rather than it staying the place i left it off at.  The music player wouldn't also play some mp3's and the music store couldn't even be accessed.

So i called bell and the agent told me that he was able to access gmail normally from his phone.  So i asked him wht to do and he told me to exchange it for a new phone.  I did so this morning on the 1st of November and this time around when i logged into facebook i accidentally accepted it forever and now my phone crashes on it when i log in.  But i thought abt accepting the certificate forever and when i accessed gmail i made it temporarily and now gmail works fine for me.

So i am really confused now... was it maybe stroring the certificate for so long the cause of the problem or was my old phone just screwed up? Oh and now i can access the music store and can play all my mp3's and the media player is much more reponsive as well.

I need an honest opinion on this one.

I was going through bell's website and saw the HTC diamond and i am kinda impressed by the features.  What do u guys think abt the diamond vs the instinct in terms of the problems we are facing as instinct users?  Would the diamond have less problems.  My main concern is abt the browser which is the biggest thing i use.

I want something that has features like the iPhone, like APPSTORE, PUSH EMAIL.  I am past 30 days and paid retail so now I am stuck with the POS.

I have eastlink for ISP and I can't even check my freaking webmail, connection fails everytime I try to login
