Phone freezes on weather!!!

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and I'd like to know if someone can help me. In the past few days if I go check the weather on the phone, only the first time I go is fine (it automatically refreshes the info) but if I exit and go back it freezes on the same previous screen (the touchscreen doesn't work) and If I go to the news, movie listings, sports etc. I still get the frozen weather info. At this point I need to shut down the phone, wait a few minutes and restart. This way it would refresh the weather info but the the problem restarts. What the heck is happening with this brand new phone? I'm getting a little frustrated about this phone after I read a few posts on this forum. Thanks

This happens all the time for me as well.
I don't get a freeze as in I can't back out to the home screen I just can't get the weather and or news to update. I need to turn off and back on the phone then update. I do this 2-3 times a day as it's a feature I use lot's. This started after the new upgrade for this app. The new change was it auto updates the weather and news, but it seems to only do it once and then not work after.

the best I can say is that if you refresh it more than once a hour you get lock up. Here in alberta that seems to be ok if you refresh it say every two to three hours. Good luck

holy crap dude....sorry to hear man...thanks for the warning... so using data in the states is not free?  how the hell do they know where you are..lmao    wonder if you turned off the gps..lol
