how to send/receive pics

hey, its be awhile...

well, ive been havin a bit of trouble with my phone atm (no surprise  ), involving updating my phone(since i dont have unlimited internet, thats imposiible i think)... but thats not what im discussin now..

well my friends have been tryin to send me texts with pictures in them, but what I get is a message that's from 'web alert' and subject ' Pic/vid - message' and reads "URGENT!" and a link..

but prior to that, my friend A, sent me a pic, and my phone sent it as freind B, and the message ' pic/vid message'.

Is there any way i could send/receive these pics without needin the internet??/
